MPs discuss Budget 2025, Ontario’s anti-tariff ad – October 27, 2025

MPs speak with reporters ahead of question period in the House of Commons.

Green Party Leader Elizabeth May fields questions on the upcoming federal budget, which is set to be tabled on November 4.

Liberal MPs Anthony Housefather and Joël Lightbound react to a Superior Court judge rejecting the Bloc Québécois’ request for a new election in the Montreal-area riding of Terrebonne, won by the Liberals by a single vote in the April federal election.

Liberals Marc Miller and Corey Hogan and New Democrat Leah Gazan discuss the Ontario government’s anti-tariff television ad that was broadcast to U.S. audiences. Conservative Kevin Waugh comments on the likelihood that Canada and the U.S. will reach a trade deal by the end of the year.
