After U.S. President Donald Trump ended trade talks with Canada, Ontario’s Premier Doug Ford released a statement announcing he will pause its U.S. advertising campaign on Monday so that trade talks can resume. David Jacobson, former U.S. ambassador to Canada, believes it’s unlikely that Ontario’s decision to pull the ad will cause trade talks to start again.
