Ottawa investit 4,1 M$ en soutien à l’innovation manufacturière à Sherbrooke – 24 octobre 2025

La ministre de l’Industrie, Mélanie Joly, également responsable de Développement économique Canada (DEC), a annoncé un soutien financier de plus de 4 millions $ à quatre entreprises manufacturières de la région de Sherbrooke. Cette aide vise à stimuler l’innovation, à accroître la productivité et à moderniser les équipements de production. L’annonce survient dans un contexte où le secteur manufacturier fait face à d’importants défis de compétitivité et témoigne de l’engagement renouvelé du gouvernement fédéral à renforcer l’économie locale. Par la suite, la ministre a répondu aux questions des journalistes, axées principalement sur la rupture des négociations commerciales entre le Canada et les États-Unis.
