GM cancels its van production in Ingersoll: ” We’re in an economic war”, says Unifor president

After GM’s announcement that it will close its CAMI assembly plant in Ingersoll, the union Unifor issued a statement asking the federal government for a industrial strategy to defend Canadian jobs. Lana Payne, the president of Unifor, warns that the country is in an economic war.
