Exemptions tarifaires sur l’acier et l’aluminium: L’industrie canadienne se dit déçue

Le gouvernement Carney fait face à une levée de boucliers de la part de l’industrie de l’acier après avoir accordé de nouvelles exemptions tarifaires sur certains produits d’acier et d’aluminium en provenance des États-Unis et de la Chine. En entrevue avec Marc-André Cossette, François Desmarais, vice-président au commerce et aux affaires industrielles de l’Association canadienne des producteurs d’acier, s’est dit déçu de ces exemptions et a souligné que la production canadienne pourrait répondre à une bonne partie de la demande intérieure en acier.
