Prime Minister Mark Carney met with President Donald Trump today to talk tariffs, trade and national security at the White House. Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc said he’s now more optimistic than when he arrived in Washington. Senior advisor and fellow with the Canadian Global Affairs Institute and former Canadian diplomat Colin Robertson joins Andrew Thomson to discuss the significance of the bilateral meeting.
