Fisheries Minister Joanne Thompson on Marineland’s request for federal funds – October 6, 2025

Fisheries Minister Joanne Thompson speaks to reporters on Parliament Hill to comment on Marineland’s request for federal funds to feed and care for 30 beluga whales at the water park. This comes following the federal government’s decision to deny Marineland’s request to export the whales to China.
