The world is still reacting to President Trump’s controversial speech made to military leaders in Quantico, Virginia this week. The president suggested that the United States military could be used further in its cities, talking about an “enemy within.” Marci Shore, professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, believes the speech prepares the military to be used against the American people.
