MPs comments on Defence Investment Agency, bail reform, Alberta pipeline – October 2, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Industry Minister Mélanie Joly and NDP MP Gord Johns comment on the new Defence Investment Agency, which is aimed at coordinating and hastening defence procurement.

Bloc Québécois MP Rhéal Fortin speaks about the necessity of bail reform following the shooting in Laval, Quebec, which has reportedly been linked to organized crime.
