Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke at the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation yesterday about the importance of Indigenous consultation and leadership when it comes to national projects. Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, National Chief for the Assembly of First Nations, tells CPAC’s Michael Serapio that she is encouraged by the what the prime minister said.
