Democracy Watch calls for changes to federal ethics laws – October 1, 2025

At a news conference on Parliament Hill, Duff Conacher, co-founder of the citizen advocacy group Democracy Watch, discusses the changes he will call for when testifying before the House of Commons Ethics Committee later today. The committee is meeting to continue its review of the Conflict of Interest Act.
