Le ministre des Finances, François-Philippe Champagne, a dévoilé l’objectif du gouvernement fédéral de réduire ses dépenses de 15 % au cours des trois prochaines années. Mais la stratégie pour y parvenir soulève de nombreuses questions. L’ancien greffier du Conseil privé et titulaire de la chaire Jarislowsky en gestion du secteur public à l’Université d’Ottawa Michael Wernick estime que le gouvernement fait faux pas en misant sur l’attrition.
