MPs comment on govt reforms to Canada Post, military justice system changes – September 26, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Bloc Québécois MP Alexis Deschênes and NDP MP Jenny Kwan comment on the government’s new reforms for Canada Post and the subsequent strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

Defence Minister David McGuinty discusses Bill C-11, new legislation aimed at reforming the military justice system. McGuinty also faces questions on his recent meeting with United States’ Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth.

Liberal MP Vince Gasparro comments on the government’s recent decision to bar the Irish hip-hop group Kneecap from entering the country.
