Le premier ministre Mark Carney a déclaré avoir eu des discussions « constructives » avec le premier ministre chinois. Est-ce un bon signe pour les relations sino-canadiennes ? L’ancien ambassadeur du Canada en Chine, Guy Saint-Jacques, estime que c’est une bonne nouvelle pour les relations économiques entre les deux pays.
