Two weeks after Prime Minister Mark Carney unveiled his first slate of national projects, from LNG in Kitimat to copper mining in BC and Saskatchewan, Contrecœur terminal container project and small modular reactors in Ontario, debate continues about their economic impact. CPAC’s Michael Serapio speaks with Anne McLellan, former deputy prime minister in the Paul Martin government, and Lisa Raitt, former Conservative cabinet minister in the Harper government, co-chairs of the Coalition for a Better Future, about the projects.
