Elizabeth May does not intend to step down as Green Party leader for now

In an interview with our anchor Michael Serapio, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May said she wants to remain at the helm of the party for the time being, despite efforts by some members to oust her. Although she has already announced that she will not run for the leadership in the next election, she is asking members to let her stay on temporarily, arguing that an immediate departure would cause disruptions, so the party can hold a proper leadership race.
