On the sidelines of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s meeting with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, former ambassador Graeme C. Clark stressed to our anchor Michael Serapio the importance of the Canada-Mexico relationship, noting that it remains essential despite often being underestimated. In today’s context, marked by major economic and geopolitical challenges, he emphasized that Mexico is an indispensable partner for Ottawa, both commercially and diplomatically.
