John Hogan, the leader of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador, takes questions from reporters after meeting with Lieutenant Governor Joan Marie Aylward to request the dissolution of the House of Assembly.

Voters in the province head to the polls in a general election on October 14.
