Group launches report on authoritarian states weaponizing AI – September 4, 2025

At a press conference on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, The Montreal Institute for Global Security (MIGS) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Canada (KAS Canada), discuss a new joint research report entitled “Wired for War: How Authoritarian States are Weaponize AI against the West.” Taking part in the news conference is Bernd Althusmann from Adenauer Stiftung Canada as well as Kyle Matthews, Chris Beall, and Elizabeth Anderson from MIGS.
