Nova Scotia wildfire update – August 29, 2025

At a news conference in Halifax, Premier Tim Houston provides an update on the wildfire situation in Nova Scotia. The premier is also discussing his government’s restrictions on entering wooded areas.

Houston is joined by the Department of Natural Resources’ Jim Rudderham and the Department of Emergency Management’s Dave Rockwood.
