Changing the Narrative: World Suicide Prevention Day Walk

August 28, 2025 at 1:14 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

Let’s come together on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at the McArthur Park boat launch to raise awareness and foster community around the issue of suicide.

Contribute to changing the narrative, reducing stigma and providing hope and healing to those affected by suicide.

T-shirts will be available for the first 250 attendees, along with a speaker, resources, activities and snacks.

If you or someone you know is struggling with or has been impacted by suicide, you’re not alone. Reach out today.
