U.S. President Donald Trump and EU leaders meet in D.C. – August 18, 2025

U.S. President Donald Trump participates in the multilateral meeting with EU leaders at the White House in Washington, D.C.
This comes following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy meeting earlier with the U.S. President.
The European Union leaders are there to support President Zelenskyy as they discuss a way forward for ending Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This comes following Trump’s Friday Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, Alaska.
