Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre holds a news conference in Corman Park, Saskatchewan, where he takes aim at the federal zero-emission vehicle sales targets. Under these targets, the federal government has committed to move towards 100% zero emission vehicle sales by 2035. Responding to questions from reporters, the Conservative leader comments on China’s decision to impose 75.8 per cent tariffs on Canadian canola imports. He is also asked about the August 18 byelection in Battle River—Crowfoot, Alberta, where he is vying to regain a seat in the House of Commons.
