PM Mark Carney makes a steel industry announcement in Hamilton, Ont. – July 16, 2025

Prime Minister Mark Carney holds a news conference in Hamilton, Ont., to make an announcement related to the steel industry. The announcement comes more than a month after U.S. President Donald Trump doubled tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum from 25 to 50 per cent.
