Stephen Lecce, Ontario’s minister of energy and mines, holds a news conference in Thunder Bay to announce an investment of $10 million to launch the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP). The program will support smaller, early-stage mining companies and licensed prospectors by covering early development costs.

He is joined by Jack Milne (founder of Milne Aggregates Inc.), Kevin Holland (MPP for Thunder Bay – Atikokan), and William MacRae (president/interim executive director, Ontario Prospectors Association).
