La Chambre des communes a mis un terme à ses travaux en adoptant le projet de loi C-5, qui vise à accélérer la réalisation de grands projets d’intérêt national. Le Sénat se penchera sur le texte dès la semaine prochaine. Le recours au bâillon a toutefois ravivé les tensions entre les députés, tandis que plusieurs représentants autochtones et groupes environnementaux ont vivement critiqué le projet.
