British PM Keir Starmer meets with PM Mark Carney in Ottawa – June 15, 2025

Prime Minister Mark Carney and Keir Starmer, his British counterpart, comment briefly ahead of their bilateral meeting on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The British prime minister is in Ottawa for a two-day official visit prior to attending the 2025 G7 Leaders’ Summit in Kananaskis, Alta.

They are joined by Aidan Gomez, a British-Canadian computer scientist working in the field of artificial intelligence.
