From May 8 to 10, Model Senate returned for a fifth year, welcoming over 100 post-secondary students from across Canada to simulate the process of passing two bills through the upper chamber. Students experienced drafting, debating, amending, voting on and passing bills, and learnt from real Canadian senators throughout the process. We spoke with participating students and senators about the experience.
