11:00 ET / 8:00 PT: Coalition of MPs and Senators relaunch pledge to increase civility in Parliament

In Ottawa, members of the Canadian Association of Feminist Parliamentarians (CAFP) relaunch their pledge to end workplace harassment and increase civility on Parliament Hill. The pledge was first launched in June 2024 during the previous Parliament.

Speaking at the news conference are Senator Marilou McPhedran and Liberal MP Lisa Hepfner (co-chairs of the CAFP), as well as Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, Bloc Québécois MP Andréanne Larouche, Liberal MP Sherry Romanado, and senators Salma Ataullahjan, Paulette Senior, and Christopher Wells.
