Danielle Smith: “PM Carney isn’t afraid to talk about being an energy superpower” – June 2, 2025

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith tells CPAC’s Michael Serapio after the First Ministers’ Meeting in Saskatoon that PM Mark Carney’s attitude towards energy and pipelines is “a dramatic improvement over what we were witnessing from even 6 months ago.” But she says that it “wouldn’t be a success” if Ottawa builds a cross-country pipeline.
