L’Essentiel : Tir groupé sur les libéraux pour leur hausse des dépenses de 8% – 30 mai 2025

Le gouvernement Carney a annoncé jeudi une augmentation de ses dépenses de 8%. L’opposition a alors vivement réagi en Chambre, l’accusant d’être pire que Justin Trudeau. Est-ce vraiment le cas? Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance décrypte le tout avec nos analystes Christine St-Pierre, Rudy Husny, Kristina Michaud et Farouk Karim.

Nous nous entretenons avec la nouvelle ministre des Services aux Autochtones, Mandy Gull-Masty, au sujet des défis qu’elles s’apprêtent à aborder, notamment du côté du logement et de la protection de l’enfance autochtone. Elles abordent également les feux de forêt qui ont actuellement lieu dans les Prairies.

Nous discutons également du bras de fer entre le président Donald Trump et la justice américaine avec l’ancien procureur fédéral américain Eric Lisann.
