Le roi Charles III a déclaré ce mardi matin, en lisant le discours du Trône, que « le gouvernement protégera la souveraineté du Canada. » Il a aussi pris la défense des valeurs, de la frontière et de l’identité du pays. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance discute de l’influence qu’a pu avoir le président américain Donald Trump dans la rédaction du discours du Trône du gouvernement Carney avec Steven MacKinnon, leader du gouvernement à la Chambre des communes.
