King Charles III and Queen Camilla attend ceremonial tree planting at Rideau Hall – May 26, 2025

At Rideau Hall in Ottawa, King Charles III and Queen Camilla meet with Governor General Mary Simon, provincial lieutenant governors, and territorial commissioners before taking part in a tree-planting ceremony. The King and Queen are in Canada on a two-day visit during which the King will deliver the Speech from the Throne to open the 45th Parliament.
