Security experts urge Canada to lead on digital resilience – May 21, 2025

The Montreal Institute for Global Security (MIGS) and eQualitie.org hold a news conference to advocate for digital resilience in the face of growing cyber threats to Canada. The news conference comes ahead of the institute’s inaugural Digital Resilience Forum in Ottawa.

Speaking with reporters are Kyle Matthews (executive director of MIGS), Dmitri Vitaliev (founding director of eQualtie.org), Venny Ala-Suira (executive director of Women on Web), Deirdre Collins (executive director of the SecDev Foundation), and Emil Falcon (CEO and founder of Web Hosting Canada).
