Ontario Premier Doug Ford commemorates Victory in Europe Day – May 7, 2025

Ontario Premier Doug Ford delivers remarks at an event in Toronto commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. The event marks the anniversary of Nazi Germany’s unconditional surrender to the Allies in World War II, which took effect on May 8, 1945.

Ontario Lieutenant-Governor Edith Dumont also provides remarks.
