PM Carney outlines his priorities: bureau chiefs panel – May 2, 2025

On Friday, Prime Minister Carney outlined the objectives of his government in his first post-election news conference. He also announced the coming of King Charles to open Parliament, calling this a “historic honour matching the weight of our times.” CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses the announcements with bureau chiefs Robert Fife (The Globe and Mail), Tonda MacCharles (Toronto Star) and Joël-Denis Bellavance (La Presse).
