Le premier ministre Mark Carney a rencontré les médias vendredi lors de sa première conférence de presse après les élections de lundi. Pour surmonter les défis à venir, il dit que « le Canada doit être uni », affirmant avoir l’intention de travailler avec l’Opposition afin de rendre le gouvernement plus efficace. Le premier ministre ajoute qu’après discussions avec ses homologues provinciaux, il confirme vouloir éliminer les barrières interprovinciales.
