Entente Ukraine — États-Unis : « positive pour les ukrainiens » selon un expert — 1er mai 2025

Les États-Unis et l’Ukraine ont signé mercredi à Washington un accord économique qui donne accès aux Américains à une partie des ressources naturelles ukrainiennes. En échange, l’administration Trump met en place un fonds d’investissement pour reconstruire le pays après la guerre. L’entente n’offre aucune garantie de sécurité, mais elle ne considère plus l’aide apportée jusqu’ici par les États-Unis comme une dette.

Le titulaire de la Chaire d’études ukrainiennes à l’Université d’Ottawa, Dominique Arel, affirme à notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance que cette entente « semble assez positive pour les Ukrainiens » contrairement à la version proposée en février, qu’il juge « horrible » et « coloniale. » Regardez notre entrevue.
