
Student funding opportunities – info sessions
TRU Career and Experiential Learning invites you to two upcoming info sessions about funding opportunities for students this summer.
Business Bootstrap Grant Program
Date: Friday, May 2
Time: 1 -2 p.m. (PT)
Location: Virtual
This program is for students who are interested in starting a business, earning credits and a bursary.
Spend the summer working on your business concept and gain support from research assistants on your business research and pilot projects.
All program types are eligible to join, but you must be a domestic student due to funding requirements.
There is a time commitment of thirty hours per week. The funding amount is not confirmed, however it’s estimated to be $1,800 in funding per student.
Research to Venture Information Session
Date: Friday, May 2
Time: 2 – 3 p.m. (PT)
Location: Virtual
Have an interest in business research?
Become a research assistant and work alongside an entrepreneurship student to conduct market analysis, customer discovery and pilot project development.
All program types are eligible to join, but you must be a domestic student due to funding requirements.
There is a time commitment of one hundred hours throughout the summer semester. The funding amount is not confirmed, however it’s estimated to be $1,800 in funding per student.
