La question demeure entière quant à la composition du nouveau cabinet du premier ministre Carney.

L’ex-ministre des Finances du Québec, Carlos Leitão a été élu sous la bannière libérale lors des élections fédérales de lundi. Questionné à savoir s’il pourrait accomplir la même fonction à Ottawa, le principal intéressé répond à notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance qu’il est « prêt à servir là où M. Carney et son équipe jugent qu’il serait le plus approprié. »

À notre émission, le lieutenant des conservateurs au Québec, Pierre Paul-Hus, se dit assuré que son parti est uni derrière Pierre Poilievre malgré qu’il n’ait pas remporté les élections de lundi car « il a fait une excellente campagne. »

Nous faisons également un survol des résultats électoraux dans la région de Québec avec Valérie Gaudreau, chroniqueuse politique du journal Le Soleil.
