Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe comments on federal election – April 29, 2025

April 29, 2025 at 1:01 pm  Federal, Politics, Video

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe holds a news conference in Regina, where he comments on yesterday’s federal election results, which projects the re-election of a Liberal government led by Prime Minister Mark Carney. It is still uncertain as to whether Carney has received a minority or a majority mandate, as a number of federal riding races remain too close to call.

Premier Moe calls on the Liberal government to reset its relationship with Saskatchewan and invites Prime Minister Carney for a meeting in the province as soon as possible to focus on issues of mutual interest, such as energy development.
