NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh comments on incident at Vancouver street festival – April 26, 2025

Speaking with reporters in Burnaby, B.C., NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh comments on an incident in which police say a man drove into a crowd of people at the Lapu Lapu Day street festival in Vancouver. Police say several people were killed and multiple people were injured in the incident at the neighbourhood party. Singh himself attended the Lapu Lapu Day festival earlier in the evening, minutes prior to the incident.
