51e état : Carney a-t-il manqué de transparence ? Panel de journalistes — 24 avril 2025

Un reportage de Radio-Canada révèle que Donald Trump avait parlé de son souhait d’annexer le Canada aux États-Unis pour en faire le 51e état américain lors de son appel du 28 mars avec Mark Carney, et ce malgré l’affirmation du chef libéral selon laquelle le président américain avait respecté la souveraineté du Canada. Ces révélations ont conduit les autres chefs de partis fédéraux à accuser leur rival libéral de manquer d’honnêteté. Cela pourrait-il nuire à son image auprès des électeurs à quelques jours du scrutin ? Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance en discute avec les journalistes Catherine Lévesque et Christopher Nardi du National Post, ainsi que Joël-Denis Bellavance de La Presse.
