CPAC’s Lucy van Oldenbarneveld takes a look at two Nova Scotia ridings where the races are expected to be close. In Halifax, Lisa Roberts is running for the NDP and is hoping to turn the riding back to orange after Andy Fillmore held the riding for the Liberals for the past nine years. Fillmore has since moved to municipal politics and it is now up to political newcomer Shannon Miedema to keep the riding Liberal red. The Conservative is Mark Boudreau.
In South Shore—St. Margarets, the incumbent, Conservative Rick Perkins is facing off against Liberal challenger Jessica Fancy-Landry. Mark Embrett is the Green candidate and the NDP have not nominated a candidate as yet.
