Michèle Boisvert : « Trump a cédé à la pression » sur ses surtaxes douanières — 10 avril 2025

Le président américain Donald Trump a annoncé ce mercredi mettre sur pause l’imposition des droits de douane infligés une semaine plus tôt à plus de 75 pays. La Chine a cependant vu ses tarifs existants doubler sur ses importations après avoir répliqué par des contre-tarifs aux États-Unis. Le Canada lui, n’a pas bénéficié de sursis sur ses droits de douane actuellement en vigueur.

La journaliste économique et ancienne vice-présidente à la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Michèle Boisvert, estime que Trump a plutôt « cédé à la pression » émanant du milieu financier.
