Alberta Premier Danielle Smith holds a press conference in Edmonton to announce a new acute care funding model.

She is joined by Adriana LaGrange, the provincial health minister, Chris Eagle, interim president and CEO of Acute Care Alberta, and Glen Sumner, clinical associate professor at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine.
