Liberal Leader Mark Carney unveils Liberal plan for skilled trades workforce – April 5, 2025

Liberal Leader Mark Carney holds a campaign event in Oakville, Ont., where he outlines his party’s plan to invest in the skilled trades workforce. Under the plan, financial support would be provided for apprenticeship and union-led training, as well more funding colleges to create more spaces for education in skills trades.

Carney is joined by Liberal candidates Sima Acan (Oakville West) and Anita Anand (Oakville East) as well as Mike Gallagher, VP and Business Manager, Local 793, International Union of Operating Engineers.
