Labour leaders respond to U.S. tariffs, call for federal support for workers – April 2, 2025

Bea Bruske, president of the Canadian Labour Congress, and Magali Picard, president of the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec, hold a press conference in Ottawa to address the impact of U.S. tariffs on Canadian workers. The labour leaders are calling on the federal government to provide immediate support to affected workers, industries and communities.
