Selon un rapport publié par le Bureau du représentant américain au commerce des États-Unis, la loi 96 sur la protection du français, promulguée par le gouvernement du Québec, est une barrière commerciale. Mark Carney et Pierre Poilievre se sont engagés à défendre la mesure lors d’éventuelles négociations, ce dont doute le Bloc Québécois. Notre animatrice Catherine Lafrance en discute avec les anciens députés Don Boudria (Parti libéral), Lawrence Cannon (Parti conservateur) et Kristina Michaud (Bloc Québécois).
