Abacus Data CEO on voter intention polls: “The Liberals are now the favourite to win.”

As the 2025 Federal Election campaign gets underway, Abacus Data unveils a new poll that shows the Conservatives with a three-point lead over the Liberals. Seven weeks ago, the Conservatives led by 25 points. When those most certain to vote are taken into consideration, the Conservative lead shrinks to only one point.

In an interview with CPAC’s Michael Serapio, Abacus’s CEO David Coletto concludes this means that “the Liberals are now the favourite to win.” Watch here.
